Fandom Shelf ("we", "us", "our") provides a personal reading tracker for fanfiction. By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you ("you", "the user") enter into an agreement with us governed by these Terms.

By continuing to use Fandom Shelf you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

Fandom Shelf is a reading tracker and reader. You can upload fics, EPUBs, images, and audio that you have the right to share, and we store and display that content to you and to anyone you choose to share it with. Fandom Shelf is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by any fanfiction hosting platform or publisher.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not:

• use the service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
• infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including by introducing malware, probing, scanning, or scraping;
• attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service;
• circumvent any technical limitations or access controls.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Fandom Shelf. This includes harassment, hate speech, spam, sexual content involving minors, and any content that violates the rights of others. You may report any content or user from the report option on profiles, comments, club posts, shared fics, and collections. We review every report and aim to act within 24 hours — actions include removing the content and suspending or terminating the responsible account. You can also block any user; blocked users' content is hidden from you and they cannot follow or share with you.

You may only save, upload, or share content that you have the right to save or share — for example fics you wrote, files you legally obtained, or links to publicly available works. Do not upload or share pirated content or material that infringes anyone's copyright. We may remove content that violates this rule and suspend repeat offenders.

If you believe content on Fandom Shelf infringes your copyright, contact us at support@fandomshelf.com with the subject "Takedown request", identifying the content and your rights to it. We will review and remove infringing content promptly.

The Fandom Shelf software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in line with your selected plan. All other rights are reserved.

You retain ownership of everything you upload or add to Fandom Shelf — including fic files, EPUBs, text, images, audio, notes, tags, and other metadata. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display this content solely to provide the service to you and to anyone you choose to share it with.

Fandom Shelf is free to use. If that ever changes, we'll update these Terms and clearly disclose any pricing before you're asked to pay anything.

We work to keep Fandom Shelf available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service for: material breach of these Terms, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time. On termination, you may export your data from Settings for a reasonable period before it is deleted.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fandom Shelf operates. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.
