About Me

Hi! I'm Christian, the creator of Fandom Shelf.

My wife originally got me into fandom and fan fiction, and honestly, I didn't expect how quickly I'd get hooked. I loved seeing how passionate and creative the community was, and how stories could bring people together from all over the world.

I'm also an author myself. My novel Nuclear Rising actually began as a small project on Wattpad before eventually being published on Amazon. Watching readers connect with something I created gave me an even deeper appreciation for online reading communities and the people who make them special.

Fandom Shelf started because I wanted a better way for all of us to organize, track, share, and celebrate the stories we love. I wanted to build something that felt cozy, community-focused, and genuinely made for fandom readers — a place where people could collaborate, recommend fics, and connect through the stories that mean so much to them.

This project has truly been a passion project for me. I've invested countless hours, late nights, and a lot of my own personal funds into bringing it to life, simply because I believe fandom communities deserve tools built with care and love behind them.

I'm also incredibly grateful to everyone helping test the app and share feedback. Every suggestion, bug report, and encouraging message genuinely helps shape Fandom Shelf into something better for the entire community.

Thanks for being here — it really means a lot. Happy reading!

FAQ

What is Fandom Shelf?
A cozy, fandom-first reading tracker. Save the fics you're reading, keep your progress in sync across devices, and celebrate the stories you love — all in one place. We don't host story text; we link out to the original source.
How does tracking work?
Add a fic by pasting an AO3/FFN link, uploading a file, or entering it manually. Fandom Shelf remembers your chapter and reading position, tallies your words read, and powers your stats, streaks, and achievements as you go.
What can I do with lists and shelves?
Organize your library into Collections (your own shelves) and a To-Be-Read queue. You can also create or join Clubs to read together and recommend fics with friends.
Can I share what I'm reading?
Yes. Pick a public handle to share your profile, post recommendations, and let friends discover your shelves. You control what's public — your library stays private unless you choose to share it.
How do I get started?
Create a free account, finish the quick onboarding, then tap the + button in your Library to add your first fic. From there, explore Discover, set up a Collection, and invite a friend or two to a Club.
